Holy Cross Parish Has Closed
By decree of Bishop Earl Boyea, on Sunday, June 21, 2009, Holy Cross Parish, Lansing was closed . The parishes of Holy Cross and St. Mary Cathedral have been merged into one new parish, with the place of worship for the unified parish community being St. Mary Cathedral.
All Sacramental Records of Holy Cross Parish - with the exception of the most recent Baptismal Register beginning January 7, 1968 - have been transferred to the Archives of the Diocese of Lansing. To obtain sacramental records dated prior to January 7, 1968, contact the diocesan archives at 517-485-9902 or fax to 517-484-8880. Baptismal records dated after January 7, 1968 have been transferred to St. Mary Cathedral Parish. For those records call the parish office at 517-484-5331 or fax to 517-484-0475.
